Postnatal Home visits

The early days and weeks with your baby can be beautiful, but they can also feel overwhelming and exhausting. Having someone by your side who understands and cares can make all the difference. My bespoke postnatal home visits are here to give you gentle, reassuring support - whatever that looks like for you. It might be a listening un-judgemental ear, some quiet company, someone to help support your choices, holding your baby so you can rest, or simply creating a calm space where you feel looked after.

I can also offer soothing massage, guidance on safe relaxing and rehabilitating movement, stress relief techniques, or practical help with things like cooking and light housework. Each visit is shaped around your needs, giving you time to recover, adjust, and feel nurtured as you step into life with your new baby.

Emotional Support

Sometimes the most valuable thing in the early days is simply having someone to sit with you, make you a cup of tea, listen without judgment, and remind you that you’re not alone and that it takes time to trust your mothering intuition. I’ll be there as a calm, caring presence so you can talk, cry, laugh, bitch about the people who undermine your choices, or just be - whatever you need in the moment.

Care of your baby

Whether you need a nap, a shower, or just a moment of quiet, I can hold your baby, soothe them, or even walk them around the block while you recharge. This little pause for yourself can make such a difference to your energy and wellbeing.

Recovering from birth

Your body has done something extraordinary, and it deserves time and gentle care as it recovers. As an Women’s Wellness Practitioner, I can guide you through safe, restorative practices to reconnect with your core, helping you rebuild strength and stability at a pace that feels right for you.

gentle massage

Touch can be deeply restorative. A simple foot, shoulder, or head massage can bring relief to tired muscles, ease tension, and give you a precious moment of calm in your day. I can also guide you in how to massage your baby.

gentle postnatal yoga

When you feel ready to move again, as a postnatal yoga teacher with over 20 years experience, I can guide you through gentle yoga practices designed for postnatal recovery many of which you can do with your baby! These movements are soft, grounding, and supportive - helping you reconnect with your body, release tension from hours of feeding and carrying your baby and find moments of stillness.

Nervous system soothing

Those early weeks can feel overwhelming at times. I’ll share simple, practical ways to calm your nervous system, and create self-care strategies so you feel more settled and steady in yourself as you adjust to life with your baby.

cooking and meal prep

Nutritious food makes a world of difference when you’re healing and caring for a newborn, but finding the time and energy can be hard. I can cook you a simple meal, prepare nourishing snacks, or even just chop your veg so that mealtimes feel easier and lighter.

I can even pick you up some groceries to make sure your cupboards are stocked (at a small extra cost).

housework

Small tasks can quickly feel huge in the haze of early parenthood. I’m happy to take care of light housework - tidying, folding laundry, putting fresh linen on your bed, loading the dishwasher - so you can rest knowing things are taken care of.
